Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy is a highly specialized treatment procedure that was first used in the 1930s, and evolved to its current forms of practice in the 1950s. It is nonsurgical, and works by promoting the body to repair, stabilize, and strengthen joints, cartilage, ligaments and tendons.

Prolotherapy can be used to repair almost any area of the body, including:

  • Head and neck
  • Shoulder
  • Back
  • Elbow
  • Finger
  • Hand and wrist
  • Hip
  • Knee
  • Ankle and foot

In addition to traditional prolotherapy treatment, we also offer several other more specialized forms of injective therapies, which are summarized below.

Prolozone therapy

Prolozone therapy includes the use of ozone in the injection medicine. Ozone can help rebuild worn, damaged or torn ligaments and connective tissue in joints more quickly than standard (dextrose-based) prolotherapy solutions.

Shockwave (ESWT)

Safe, noninvasive treatment for optimizing sexual performance and reversing the effects of erectile dysfunction (ED) due to poor blood flow and Peyronie's disease. The therapy works by using high-frequency, low intensity sound waves to break up plaque formation and stimulate new blood vessel and nerve growth within the penis.

Mesotheraphy

Mesotheraphy involves the use of precise injections into the middle layer of skin and tissue. As practiced by Dr. Nebbeling, this technique is used in conjunction with traditional prolotherapy to help promote the range of motion and function of specific joints.

We invite you to Contact Us for more information about any of these therapies.
